13. February 2024China Machinery Huanyu Certification and Inspection (CMCI) was established in 2003 and is headquartered in Beijing with a registered capital of approximately 170 million yuan. As a central second-tier enterprise, it is under the control of the China Academy of Machinery Science (CAMS) Group Co., Ltd. and directly under the State Commission for the Supervision and Management of Assets of the State Council (SASAC).
At present, CMCI has 69 subsidiaries and holding companies at various levels, as well as more than 7 testing qualifications approved by various government bodies such as the State Administration for Market Regulation, the State Certification and Accreditation Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and other ministries and commissions.
Product certification according to CNCA authorization
The company is authorized by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA) and can perform 30 categories of mandatory product certification (CCC). It is also approved for 6 categories of voluntary certification, 10 categories of management system certifications, and 4 categories of wholesale and retail certifications, as well as service certifications for maintenance and repair services.
CMCI’s testing and certification services span various sectors such as motor vehicles and automotive components, construction machinery, special equipment, as well as ground service equipment for aircraft and military products.
In addition, the company has successfully completed certifications in the field of carbon emission management, verification of greenhouse gases, CO2 footprint of products, as well as certification of other management systems and certification according to CNCA system.
CMCI is therefore a specialist in product certification, system certification and the execution of tests and inspections, and supports government decisions with technical advice.
