China Strengthens CCC Certification Oversight with New Enforcement Measures

Authorities are also addressing systemic issues within the certification industry, including unfair price competition and the involvement of unauthorized intermediaries. New provisions require certification fees to be transparently calculated and prohibit third-party interference in inspection processes. Additionally, traceability requirements have been strengthened, mandating that records related to testing and inspections be retained for at least ten years.
