Electromobility is considered a forward-looking trend in China, with the importance of electric vehicles set to increase in the coming years. In addition to the provisions on battery traceability and recycling, which are relevant for the registration of battery systems in China, safety regulations are of paramount importance.

Implementation of the revised standard is expected to be in 2025.

The Chinese regulatory landscape is subject to constant development and change. When implementing new standards, entrepreneurs must ensure that their products continue to comply with the new regulations.
