New GB Standards for Charging Cables, Plugs/Sockets, and Architectural Coatings
23. October 2025We regularly publish preliminary information on new standards announced by the Chinese authorities, which have either recently come into force or will do so in the near future.
Affected products, such as charging cables for electric vehicles, plugs, socket-outlets and couplers for industrial applications, as well as architectural coatings, generally require CCC certification in order to be approved for import and distribution in China.
The following standards have recently been announced or have come into effect:
