Information on New Mandatory CCC for Crawling and Playing Blankets for Children Published

January 2018On December 11, 2017 the Chinese certification authority CNCA published that crawling and playing blankets for children under the age of 15 will require CCC Certification in the future. The main purpose of this is to ensure the quality and safety of these products. In recent years the market for these products has grown steadily. CCC will be mandatory for products which meet one of the following criteria:
- The product can be disassembled, put together again or reshaped.
- The product has an imprint of cartoons, letters, objects or colors for children to play with or learn reading with.
The relevant GB Standard is GB6675. Starting from December 1, 2018 all non-certified or incorrectly certified products will not be allowed to be imported, sold or used in China.
