New CCCF Regulations for Fire-Fighting Vehicles

Fire-fighting vehicles are subject to the CCC certification requirements in China according to “China Compulsory Certification Implementation Rules – Motor vehicle (fire truck)” CNCA-C11-01 / A1-2014. These regulations are similar to the automotive complete car CCC homologation, but here a CCCF (Fire Protection) certification is required which can only be performed by China Certification Center for Fire Products (CCCF) which is part of the Ministry of Public Security. The related product tests for CCCF certification can be performed by the Shanghai Fire Research Institute of MPS, which is one of the accredited test labs.

The new implementation rules were published in 2014, and became effective on January 1, 2015. They replaced the old standard CNCA 02C-023-2002 / A1.
