CCIC Starts a Strategic Cooperation to promote the Shanghai Automotive Testing Center
On August 23, 2017 a strategic cooperation agreement was signed between the China Certification & Inspection Group (CCIC) and the Shanghai Lingang Economic Development (Group) Co., Ltd.
There were also representatives of the Shanghai Automotive Testing Center and the China Quality Certification Center (CQC) present, and who will also be involved in the strategic cooperation. The strategic cooperation will primarily promote the development of the Shanghai Automotive Testing Center and the construction of environment-friendly and low-carbon cars. The CQC will play an important role in ensuring quality.
The CQC is an organization under the CCIC, which is responsible for the certification of products. In addition to the CCC certification, the CQC also provides a voluntary CQC certification for certain types of products. For this purpose, the Chinese authority regularly publishes new regulations and implementation rules. The list of products for voluntary CQC certification has been expanded.
A voluntary CQC certification serves as a quality feature and proves that a product complies with Chinese standards and regulations.
