{"id":3563,"date":"2017-11-21T19:43:59","date_gmt":"2017-11-21T18:43:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/en\/?p=3563"},"modified":"2023-02-09T11:44:34","modified_gmt":"2023-02-09T10:44:34","slug":"ccap-implementation-rule-and-further-information-for-motorcycle-helmets-has-been-published","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/en\/ccap-implementation-rule-and-further-information-for-motorcycle-helmets-has-been-published\/","title":{"rendered":"CCAP Implementation Rule and Further Information for Motorcycle Helmets has been Published"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On November 10, 2017 the<strong> Chinese certification authority CCAP<\/strong> which is responsible for\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/what-is-ccc\">CCC certification<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0of automotive products published the new detailed <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/cnca-implementation-rules\">implementation rules<\/a> CCAP-C11-15:2017<\/strong> for motorcycle helmets. Chinese manufacturers of motorcycle helmets must adhere to following information:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Manufacturers with a production license of <strong>AQSIQ<\/strong> for motorcycle helmets need to apply for a <strong>CCC certification<\/strong> in order to get the production license converted to a<strong> CCC certificate<\/strong>. Within a period of 3 to 6 months after receiving the new <strong>CCC certificate<\/strong>, a factory inspection will be conducted by Chinese authorities. Test reports need to be prepared for the audit. In addition, Random Sample Tests may be requested.<\/li>\n<li>Starting from November 1, 2017 all manufacturers of motorcycle helmets must apply for CCC for their products according to the new <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/cnca-implementation-rules\">implementation rule<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0<strong>CCAP-C11-15:2017<\/strong>. The CCC certificate needs be obtained prior to the export to China. Motorcycle helmets which are not CCC certified are not allowed to be imported or sold to China from November 1, 2017 on.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2527 size-full\" title=\"Motorcycle helmet\" src=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Motorcycle-helmet.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"334\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/cnca-implementation-rules\">implementation rules<\/a><\/strong> consist of guidelines for the certification of specific product categories. The new regulations for motorcycle helmets are included in\u00a0<strong>CNCA-C11-15:2017<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Product tests are a mandatory part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/what-is-ccc\">CCC certification.<\/a>\u00a0The regulation for these tests are specified in the\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/gb-standards\/?noredirect=en_US\">GB-standards<\/a><strong>, the Chinese national regulations.
