Specifically, they are GB\/T 4502-2023 Laboratory test methods for passenger car tire capabilities (this supersedes the previous version GB\/T 4502-2016) and GB\/T 521-2023 Test Method of Measuring Peripheral Dimensions for Tires (which supersedes GB\/T 521-2012). Car tires require <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/en\/what-is-ccc\">CCC certification<\/a><\/strong> to be approved for import and sale in China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/iStock-1415189575-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20923\" width=\"498\" height=\"332\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/iStock-1415189575-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/iStock-1415189575-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/iStock-1415189575-1-768x513.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/iStock-1415189575-1.jpg 1254w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 498px) 100vw, 498px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GB\/T 4502-2023 was published on May 23, 2023, and is scheduled to take effect on December 1, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GB\/T 521-2023 was announced on March 17, 2023, and is scheduled to be implemented on October 1, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As soon as details of the changes in the new version GB\/T 4502-2023 become available, we will inform you on our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/en\/news\/\">news page<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For GB\/T 521-2023, in addition to the structural adjustments and editorial changes, the following changes from the previous version, among others, are included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Add &#8220;Electric bicyclc tire.s and rickshaw tires&#8221; in the scope of application<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Change the accuracy requirements for the tire Pressure gauge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add &#8220;non-contact measuring instruments&#8221; and related requirements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add specific provisions on measuring inflation pressure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add measurement method for &#8220;overall tire width&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Change the provisions on the number of measurement Points for &#8220;section Width, groove depth, tread wear mark height&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Change the Value of &#8220;n&#8221; from &#8220;3.14&#8221; to &#8220;3.1416&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information on how&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/en\/what-is-ccc\"><strong>CCC certification<\/strong><\/a>, the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/en\/what-is-ccc\/ccc-self-declaration\/\"><strong>CCC Self-Declaration<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/en\/china-cqc-certification-ccap-certification\/\"><strong>voluntary CCAP or CQC certification<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;may affect your company, or for more information about&nbsp;CCC certification&nbsp;in general, please visit our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/en\/news\"><strong>News Section<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;where you will find current updates twice a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please do not hesitate to contact us for further details and consultation.
