{"id":1925,"date":"2015-09-25T11:40:16","date_gmt":"2015-09-25T11:40:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/en\/?page_id=575"},"modified":"2023-02-09T11:45:07","modified_gmt":"2023-02-09T10:45:07","slug":"ccc-update-of-ccc-certificates-for-audio-and-video-products","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/en\/ccc-update-of-ccc-certificates-for-audio-and-video-products\/","title":{"rendered":"CCC: Update of CCC Certificates for Audio and Video Products"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In an earlier news (<a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/ccc-new-chinese-regulations-for-audio-and-video-products\">CCC: New Chinese Regulations for Audio and Video Products<\/a>) we informed you that the Chinese authority <strong>CNCA<\/strong> (Certification and Accreditation Administration) published 31 new regulations (<strong>\u201cImplementation Rules\u201d<\/strong>) affecting the <a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/what-is-ccc\">CCC Certification<\/a> of various products in the middle of the year 2014. Therefore, new audio and video products are included in these new regulations. The new implementation rule for audio and video equipment is <strong>CNCA-C08-01-2014<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nThe following audio and video products are affected by this implementation rule:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>amplifiers<\/li>\n<li>active loudspeakers<\/li>\n<li>MP3 player<\/li>\n<li>CD\/DVD player<\/li>\n<li>Visual systems and screens<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The new implementation rule for audio and video products became effective in September 1st, 2014.<\/strong><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2725 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/10\/20150925114226286.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" \/>Manufacturers of products, who already have CCC Certificates, will need to <strong>update their certificates until the end of 2016 and get their products re-tested if required<\/strong>. This regulation also concerns applicants for certificates, who do not have CCC certificates for their products yet.<\/p>\n<p>Manufacturers have to be aware that products which were not CCC mandatory so far, could need CCC by now.<\/p>\n<p>If you are uncertain whether your product needs CCC or not, please contact us.
