Estimations show that one year later, in <strong>2016, 34 gigawatts <\/strong>were generated by nuclear power plants.<br \/>\nIt is currently estimated that nuclear energy will <strong>triple by 2026, to over 100 million kilowatts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>China declared long-term goal is to continue to become less dependent on coal and other fossil fuels. According to the <strong>International Atomic Energy Agency<\/strong>, China has <strong>20 new reactors under construction <\/strong>as of right now, with another <strong>176 additional reactors already being planned<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the massive expansion of its nuclear power sector, China will continue to have <strong>numerous opportunities <\/strong>for suppliers of safety-related, nuclear components.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2768 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/10\/20170221183221805.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"256\" height=\"99\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Foreign manufacturers will need the proper registration of their safety related products before they can ship them to China. They must have a valid <a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/haf-604-certification-for-imported-civil-nuclear-safety-equipment\"><strong>HAF-604 registration<\/strong><\/a> before shipping.<br \/>\nMost manufacturers don \u2018t have the expertise, contacts in China and language skills in order to prepare the necessary paperwork for a HAF-604 registration with the <strong>China National Nuclear Safety Administration <\/strong>(<strong>NNSA<\/strong>).
