{"id":14590,"date":"2017-01-27T18:36:11","date_gmt":"2017-01-27T18:36:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/en\/?page_id=777"},"modified":"2023-02-09T11:44:40","modified_gmt":"2023-02-09T10:44:40","slug":"ccc-new-gb-standard-for-motorbikes-and-mopeds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/en\/ccc-new-gb-standard-for-motorbikes-and-mopeds\/","title":{"rendered":"CCC: New GB Standard for Motorbikes and Mopeds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On <strong>August 22, 2017 <\/strong> new GB Standards regarding the \u201cLimits and Measurement Methods for Emissions from Motorcycles and Mopeds\u201d will be released and will replace the former GB Standards <strong>GB14622-2007 <\/strong>and <strong>GB18176-2007<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GB 14622-2016 <\/strong>defines the \u201cLimits and Measurement Methods for Emissions from Motorcycles.\u201d For smaller mopeds, the Limits and Measurement Methods are defined in <strong>GB 18176-2016<\/strong>. Both GB Standards have been reworked with regard to the allowed limits and test requirements.<\/p>\n<p>The current <a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/cnca-implementation-rules\"><strong>CNCA Implementation Rules<\/strong><\/a> have not been changed, <strong>CNCA-C11-02: 2014 <\/strong>(for motorcycles) and <strong>CNCA-C11-03: 2014 <\/strong>(for mopeds) both remain valid.<\/p>\n<p>It is possible to apply for <a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/what-is-ccc\"><strong>CCC certification<\/strong><\/a> under new regulations since <strong>January 01, 2017<\/strong>. In order to make the transition easier for the manufacturer, the authorities allowed for a transition period until <strong>July 01, 2018<\/strong>. During this transition period the manufacturer can still apply in accordance to <strong>GB14622-2007 and GB18176-2007 <\/strong>respectively.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2766 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/10\/20170130081909477.jpg\" alt=\"Detalle tubo de escape moto vintage\" width=\"320\" height=\"480\" \/><br \/>\nFrom <strong>July 01, 2018 <\/strong>on the authority will not accept any applications following the old standards.
