{"id":14571,"date":"2016-11-18T17:01:01","date_gmt":"2016-11-18T17:01:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/en\/?page_id=747"},"modified":"2023-02-09T11:44:45","modified_gmt":"2023-02-09T10:44:45","slug":"ccc-new-gb-standard-for-installation-of-the-external-lighting-and-light-signaling-devices-for-motor-vehicles-and-trailers-effective","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/en\/ccc-new-gb-standard-for-installation-of-the-external-lighting-and-light-signaling-devices-for-motor-vehicles-and-trailers-effective\/","title":{"rendered":"CCC: New GB-Standard for Installation of the External Lighting and Light-Signaling Devices for Motor Vehicles and Trailers Effective"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As we have announced in an earlier <a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/ccc-new-gb-standard-for-installation-of-the-external-lighting-and-light-signaling-devices-for-motor-vehicles-and-trailers-close-to-be-released\"><strong>news<\/strong><\/a>, the <strong>SAC (Standardization Administration of China)<\/strong> published a new version of the national <strong>GB standard<\/strong> <strong>GB4785-2007<\/strong> for the prescription for installation of external lighting and light-signaling devices for motor vehicles and trailers. The new version <strong>GB4785-2015<\/strong> <strong>came into effect on July 1, 2016<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the points that are changed or added are the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GB5920 \u201cPhotometric characteristics of front and rear position lamps, end-outline marker lamps and stop lamps for motor vehicles and trailers\u201d is added as normative reference.<\/li>\n<li>Marker lamps for draw-bar-trailer shall be mounted at the front side of the trailer with its front lamps in white and rear lamps in red color indicating the orientation of the vehicle. This is not mentioned in the old version.<\/li>\n<li>The illuminating surface of the rear position lamp, rear turn signal light and brake light for trucks, special construction vehicles and trailers less than 4,500kg shall not be less than the surface of a circle with a diameter of 80mm. If the illumination surface is not a circle, it shall at least cover a circle with a diameter of 40mm. This is not mentioned in the old version.<\/li>\n<li>The luminous intensity of all headlamps shall not exceed 430,000cd. In the old version it was 225,000cd.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is a new version of <a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/ccc-new-gb-standard-for-license-plate-illumination-effective-july-1-2016\"><strong>GB18408-2015 for registration plate lamps<\/strong><\/a>, which also <strong>came into effect on July 1, 2016.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Standard GB4785 is the regulatory basis for the <strong>certification of complete vehicles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>All CCC certificates for external lighting and light signaling devices for vehicles need to be updated to the <a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/cnca-implementation-rules\"><strong>new Implementation Rules<\/strong><\/a> CNCA-C11-07:2014 which is mandatory starting from January 1, 2017.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2762 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/10\/20161118171202255.jpg\" alt=\"LED Scheinwerfer\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><br \/>\nAre you looking for more information regarding the new <a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/gb-standards\"><strong>GB Standard<\/strong><\/a> for the installation of external lighting and light-signaling devices for motor vehicles and trailers?
