On March 21, 2016 the CQC<\/strong><\/a> (China Quality Certification Centre) issued an overview of the latest Implementation Rules for the Voluntary CQC Mark Certification<\/strong><\/a> of electronic products. These Implementation Rules were originally issued by CNCA<\/strong><\/a> (Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People\u2019s Republic of China) and were updated by the CQC for Voluntary CQC Mark Certification<\/strong><\/a>.<\/div>\n

The main differences between the old and the new Implementation Rules for the Voluntary CQC Mark Certification<\/strong><\/a> of electronic products (above) are in regards of new regulations for product tests and annual follow-up inspections.<\/p>\n

The relevant standards for components and assemblies at high voltage (CQC11-469400-2015) were updated from SJ3273-90 to SJ\/T3273-2013 and for Laser systems (CQC11-483151-2016) from GB7247.1-2001 to the newer GB7247.1-2012.<\/p>\n

The CQC regularly publishes new announcements about products that require CCC certification<\/strong><\/a> as well as products that can be certified with a Voluntary CQC Mark Certification<\/strong><\/a>. It is the responsibility of the exporter and\/or manufacturer to carefully check every product and to fully understand the applicable regulations prior to shipping. Each product category of the Voluntary CQC Mark Certification has its own Certification Rules which are based on the National GB Standards<\/strong><\/a>. The Certification Rules have a corresponding Implementation Rule which the product must comply with in order to get a Voluntary CQC Mark Certification. The Implementation Rules can be found on the official website of the CQC. New Voluntary CQC Mark Certification products and product categories are posted on the website frequently along with important information regarding certification application start dates.<\/p>\n
