{"id":14479,"date":"2015-07-07T16:33:35","date_gmt":"2015-07-07T16:33:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/en\/?page_id=524"},"modified":"2023-02-09T11:45:12","modified_gmt":"2023-02-09T10:45:12","slug":"cqc-the-cqc-publishes-information-about-the-gb-standard-for-covers-of-switchgear-and-control-gear-assemblies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.china-certification.com\/en\/cqc-the-cqc-publishes-information-about-the-gb-standard-for-covers-of-switchgear-and-control-gear-assemblies\/","title":{"rendered":"CQC: The CQC Publishes Information about the GB Standard for Covers of Switchgear and Control Gear Assemblies"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\">The CQC (<strong>China Quality Certification Centre<\/strong>, in Chinese: \u4e2d\u56fd \u8d28\u91cf \u8ba4\u8bc1 \u4e2d\u5fc3), recently published a notification of an updated GB-Standard for \u201ccovers of low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies.\u201d<\/div>\n<p>According to the CQC the new GB-Standard, GB\/T 20641-2014 (announced June 1, 2015), replaces the previous <strong>GB-Standard<\/strong>, GB\/T 20641-2006. The new requirements for the product range &#8220;covers for low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies\u201d are relevant to all manufacturers who wish to apply for a voluntary certification for a <strong>CQC certificate<\/strong> or who already possess such a certificate.<\/p>\n<p>Manufacturers who choose to get the <strong>CQC Mark certification<\/strong> will minimize their chances of having problems at customs, and will have an advantage if <strong>CCC<\/strong> becomes mandatory in the future. Certificate holders with existing CQC Mark certificates of \u201ccovers for low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies\u201d will need to update their certificate with reference to the new standard no later than December 31, 2016 to maintain the validity of their certificates. To update the certificates the affected manufacturers must present proof of the annual factory audits and that the new requirements were implemented within the factory. The products will also need to be re-tested to the new standards in a CQC authorized test lab in China. If the certificate is not updated to the new GB Standard, GB\/T 20641-2014, by June 1, 2017 the certificate will be cancelled.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2709 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/10\/20150707163301261.jpg\" alt=\"Hand of an electrician\" width=\"418\" height=\"287\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The CQC website regularly publishes new announcements about products that require <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/what-is-ccc\">CCC certification<\/a><\/strong> as well as products that can be certified with a <strong>Voluntary CQC Mark Certification<\/strong>. It is the responsibility of the shipper and\/or manufacturer to carefully check every product and to fully understand the applicable regulations prior to shipping. Each product category of the Voluntary CQC Mark Certification has its own Certification Rules, which are based on the National <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/gb-standards\">GB Standards<\/a><\/strong>. The Certification Rules have a corresponding Implementation Rule which the product must comply with in order to get a Voluntary CQC Mark Certification. The Implementation Rules can be found on the official website of the CQC.
