The official announcement ceremony for the implementation of these GB Standards is scheduled for July 22, 2015 and will take place in the city of Harbin. Meanwhile, the official test institutes, research institutions and affected manufacturers have the opportunity to prepare for the new requirements prior to the official announcement.<\/p>\n<p>The new GB standards for electric vehicles are as follows:<br \/>\n\u2022 GB \/ T 18384.1-2015 &#8220;Electric vehicles &#8211; Safety Requirements &#8211; Part 1: Rechargeable Energy Storage Systems for Motor Vehicles (REESS)&#8221;<br \/>\n\u2022 GB \/ T 18384.2-2015 &#8220;Electric vehicles &#8211; Safety Requirements &#8211; Part 2: Safety and Quality Assurance&#8221;<br \/>\n\u2022 GB \/ T 18384.3-2015 &#8220;Electric vehicles &#8211; Safety Requirements &#8211; Part 3: Protection Against Electric Shock&#8221;<br \/>\n\u2022 GB \/ T 31498-2015 &#8220;Safety Requirements in Case of Accidents for Electric Cars&#8221;<br \/>\n\u2022 GB \/ T 31466-2015 &#8220;The Voltage Level at High Pressure Systems for Electric Vehicles&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-516\" src=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/20150212151652489.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"268\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The announcement of these new GB standards by NTCAS underlines the growing importance of e-mobility in China. A proactive approach in implementing the new requirements described in the GB standards and obtaining the necessary <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/what-is-ccc\">CCC china certification<\/a><\/strong> early will be advantageous for suppliers who plan to join new electric vehicle projects in China.<\/p>\n<p>Just recently the Chinese certification authority CQC (China Quality Certification Centre, in Chinese: \u4e2d\u56fd \u8d28\u91cf \u8ba4\u8bc1 \u4e2d\u5fc3) published standards and regulations for batteries and battery systems of electric and hybrid vehicles (including road vehicles and ATV\u2019s). They are offering a voluntary certifications, which will ensure compliance with Chinese standards and regulations regarding quality, safety and environment.
