Excerpts from this interview have been published in the December 23, 2014 issue in the article <strong>\u201cEile ist geboten&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/div>\n<p><strong>The article deals with the Chinese AQSIQ approval requirement for foreign companies who want to export recycling material into China.<\/strong> It also mentions the SEPA license that the Chinese importers of recycling materials need to obtain to bring these materials in.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2672\" src=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/10\/20150114154817367.jpg\" alt=\"20150114154817367\" width=\"250\" height=\"258\" \/>The Beijing based Chinese authority <strong>AQSIQ<\/strong> (\u201cGeneral Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine,\u201d in Chinese: \u56fd\u5bb6\u8d28\u91cf\u76d1\u7763\u68c0\u9a8c\u68c0\u75ab\u603b\u5c40) is responsible for the issuing and administration of the \u201c<strong>License of Registration for Overseas Supplier Enterprise of Imported Solid Wastes as Raw Materials\u201d<\/strong>. This institution is the highest of all certification authorities in China and all other executive bodies (e.g. <strong>CQC, CCAP, CCIC<\/strong>) fall under the AQSIQ.<\/p>\n<p>In the article Mr. Busch explains the process involved and the complexities of the registration process. He also discussed the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/aqsiq-license-holders-urged-to-check-expiration-dates\">estimated 500 AQSIQ licenses (estimated by the Bureau of International Recycling) that will be expiring by the end of 2014<\/a><\/strong> and the deadlines to apply for prolongation of an AQSIQ registration.<\/p>\n<p>The article was published only in print and only in the German language.
