Numerous updates and new <a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/gb-standards\">GB Standards<\/a><br \/>\n(GB stands for \u201cGuobiao\u201d, Chinese for \u201cNational Standard\u201d) were published in 2014.<br \/>\nIn addition to the mandatory GB Standards, voluntary GB\/T norms, QC\/T and NB\/T standards exist as well as regulations of the CQC (China Quality Certification Centre).<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>SAC<\/strong> (Standardization Administration of the People&#8217;s Republic of China, in Chinese:<br \/>\n\u56fd\u5bb6\u6807\u51c6\u5316\u7ba1\u7406\u59d4\u5458\u4f1a) is responsible for development, verification and release of new and\/or updated standards. <strong>According to an announcement by the authority from August 2014, it evaluated and passed nearly 500 new Chinese standards in the first half of 2014.<\/strong> The large amount of new regulations shows the Chinese governmental bodies focus on changing the regulatory framework in order to improve the process of product standardization.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2667 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/10\/2014121116174439.jpg\" alt=\"2014121116174439\" width=\"112\" height=\"67\" \/>The new standards mainly affect the following product areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Automotive safety<\/li>\n<li>Consumer goods<\/li>\n<li>Food products<\/li>\n<li>Industrial products<\/li>\n<li>Environmental protection<\/li>\n<li>Agricultural<\/li>\n<li>Logistics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Change applications<\/strong> at CQC or CCAP (China Certification Centre for Automotive Products) for existing <a href=\"https:\/\/china-certification.com\/en\/what-is-ccc\">CCC certificates<\/a> may be required due to the new and updated regulations.<br \/>\n<strong>It is the responsibility of the certificate holder to be informed of the latest changes and to maintain compliance for their product(s).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Are you looking for more information regarding new Chinese standards?<\/strong> Do you need more information regarding regulatory updates?
