CoP Plan and Execution Report<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The existence of a CoP plan (CoP Control Plan)<\/strong> is a pre-condition for obtaining CCC certification<\/strong><\/a> for automotive parts. CoP stands for \u201cConformity of Production\u201d<\/em>, which in this case refers to production of CCC certified components that are manufactured in consistency with the Chinese regulations (such as the GB Standard<\/strong><\/a> and Implementation Rules<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CoP plan (also called CoP Control Plan) is required to be updated for every follow-up-inspection and it needs to show the production process of each of the CCC certified parts. In order to maintain compliance of existing CCC certificates<\/strong><\/a>, the CoP plan needs to be submitted to the Chinese certification authority as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CoP plan covers the following areas:<\/strong>
– CoP Tests and Inspection
– Key Components and Materials
– Key Production Process<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When completing the CoP plan it is important to have complete consistency with all application documents that have been submitted to the Chinese certification authority. Applicants should use the List of Key Components<\/strong>, the Description Form<\/strong> and the Questionnaire for Factory Inspection<\/strong> when filling in the documents. It is also important to include information from documents for certificate extension projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is important to avoid mistakes when filling in the CoP Control Plan<\/strong>, otherwise the Chinese administration may reject it or find a non-conformity during the annual follow-up inspection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each year the CCC certificate holder is required to submit a CoP Execution Report<\/strong> prior to their annual follow-up inspection. This report is a record of any changes that have occurred and refers directly to the CoP control plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CoP Execution Report covers to the following points:<\/strong>
– General information about the plant
– Status of CCC certificates
– Usage of the CCC mark (CCC logo)
– Execution of all points stated in the CoP plan
– Change of key components
– Change of key production process
– Change of production and test equipment
– Traceability of non-conforming products
