More InformationFor the export of food and agricultural products to China, official registration with the Chinese customs authority GACC (General Administration of Customs) is mandatory. This procedure applies to both foreign manufacturers and exporters, distinguishing between direct self-registration and an official recommendation procedure depending on the product category. Without successful listing in the GACC system and the assignment of a valid registration number, legal customs clearance and marketing in China are prohibited.
