CCC certification needed for alloy wheel
It is expected that in 2016, the Chinese administrations AQSIQ and CNCA will publish an announcement requiring aluminum rims (alloy wheel) to have a China mark.
From the time the new regulation is implemented, all aluminum wheels will need to be certified within 6 to 12 months. After implementation, aluminum rims will not be allowed to be imported into China or sold in China without a China CCC certificate.
The CCC certification includes product testing in a designated Chinese test lab as well as a factory inspection. Manufacturers of alloy wheels must ensure that their products fulfill the requirements of relevant Chinese GB standards.
As soon as the announcement is available, China Certification will provide further information here on our website. If you are a manufacturer of alloy wheels, please contact us to learn more.
If you have any additional questions, please contact us by email. You can also find more information about CCC on our brochure on CCC certification which contains a special chapter for automotive suppliers.
