Amid Transformation: MPR China Certification in Direct Dialogue with CQC and CCARI
10. July 2026China’s certification landscape is currently undergoing a profound transformation. MPR China Certification is not merely observing these developments but is actively on the ground to provide clarity and continue supporting our customers in the best possible way.
This week, our Managing Director, Louis Gogger, traveled to China personally to meet directly with representatives of two key certification authorities: Zhang Zhe, CEO of the China Certification Center for Automotive Research (CCARI), and Yu Ying, Assistant Director of Certification Department III at the China Quality Certification Centre (CQC). The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to maintain direct dialogue, further strengthen our cooperation, and jointly lay the groundwork for smooth collaboration in the future.

We are delighted that our long-standing partnership with CQC continues to provide a strong foundation during this transition period. At the same time, we are excited about establishing our new cooperation with CCARI, whose accreditation for CCC certification in key automotive categories represents an important milestone in the further development of China’s approval system.
Meetings like this are a natural part of our work. We do not follow developments from a distance; instead, we are present where decisions are made, engaging directly with the authorities and actively helping to pave the way for our customers.
We look to the future with confidence and are convinced that, together with CQC, CCARI, China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC) and the China Certification Centre for Automotive Products (CCAP), we are ideally positioned to continue providing reliable support to manufacturers seeking approval for the Chinese market.
