CCC certification needed for more automotive products
We expect that in 2014 the Chinese administrations AQSIQ and CNCA will publish an announcement declaring that several additional automotive products require a CCC certification.
We assume these will be:
- Wheels
- Engine
- Bulbs of lighting devices
- Warning triangle
- Child seat
From the time the new regulation is implemented, all these products will need to be certified within 6 to 12 months. After implementation, these products will not be allowed to be imported into China or sold in China without a CCC certificate.
The China CCC certification includes product testing in a designated Chinese test lab as well as a factory inspection.

China Certification awarded as an Outstanding Certification Company by CCAP
On May 9th, 2013, MPR China Certification GmbH – China Certification Corporation was invited to a workshop held by the China Certification Centre for Automotive Products (CCAP) as part of CCAP’s 15th anniversary celebration. During the event, MPR China Certification GmbH – China Certification Corporation was the only foreign certification company awarded as an “Outstanding Certification Company” by CCAP Managing Director Mr. Qiang Yi.
